Pepper dulse, Osmundea pinnatifida, Míobhán, “Truffle of the Sea”

A seaweed spice with a truely distinctive flavour, offering hints of black pepper, garlic, truffles and bitter chocolate. Ideal as a seasoning on shellfish, meat and eggs.

A tiny sprinkle is added as a final enhancement to boost a dish to a fine dining experience.

We harvest this seaweed during winter months when it is in it’s prime.
